In a good position with a varied menu. Good reviews and attentive staff.

We have just come back from Altinkum and had previously looked on your website which mentioned Pinocchios.  When we went there, we were very disappointed in that it was geared for the 'tourist'.  If however you want some fantastic Turkish food together with english food for the more fussy kids, look no further than the Damla.  What a great place and much more 'subtle' surroundings than Pinocchios.  We had decided before the holiday that we wouldn't go to the same restaurant twice, but they all paled into insignificance against the Damla and we ended up going there 3 times.  Every time the food was fantastic, the staff were brilliant and good fun especially Angin the head waiter and Ahmet at the door.  The quality of food was 5 star every time we ate there.  Our girls ate mainly english fare and loved everything from the Garlic bread to the burgers, cottage pie and the spaghetti bolagnese.  We both had turkish fare which was spectacular, from the cold mezze starters to the lamb dishes.  Their menu is long and very impressive and their red wine very good also.  The price too was very good.  I can't recommend this restaurant enough....Do try it!!

The photo was taken in the Damla Restaurant on the 05/08/09, it was my 40th Birthday. I would definately recommend that people celebrate their birthdays there, they made my birthday a night to remember. The staff made a real fuss. They decorated the room, had sparklers etc complimentary champagne and got everybody up dancing.
