New premises show off the market now in its best light. Gone are the shabby stalls and pot ridden roofs, replaced with a purpose built, out of town shopping stadium. Cheap and fresh produce for those of you staying in self catering. IMPORTANT: Watch out for Pickpockets!

It's a lot more open now but you still have to be careful with your purse.

I love wandering around the market but this new one has taken all the old charm away. The goods are still there and the fruit and veg are still for pennies, but there isn't the same feel.

I live in Altinkum and I can tell you that this is the best market around. If you go to the suoermarkets you'll get the same veg and fruit but you will pay a lot more!
